Message	check with your state laws first because it is illegal to just remove a vin sticker...i know in NY even if you are repainting there is a legal process and shops have to do it legally (i don't know the exact steps) in order to avoid any potential felony charges for example, on motorcycle frames you know the vin plates and stickers on the frame (not the etched vin itself on forks), you know how most customizers take those stickers/plates off for a clean look? well technically in nys it is illegal and i know people who have been arrested for it
